There was this period where the Singapore National Heritage Board (NHB) was having this very attractive promotion: Free entries to all museums!! (heritage-fever rubbed off from Jac)
And they also gawd this contest thingy where you go inside all the museums to find answers for some questions.. (we wanted to win a set of Wii!)
So we went to a few places..
First stop: Singapore National Museum---
Hot babe.. Haha
Singapore History Gallery
The first room that we enter was gigantic and has screens projected all over the wall.. It was like watching a brain-washing movie clip .. but truly inspiring.. The clip and song sort of summed up what Singapore is all about!
Every visitor into the gallery was given this piece of equipment called the COMPANION and its ur mini personal tour guide that will tell you everything you want to know about all the exhibits and different sections in the gallery.. quite cool actually....
Then there was this theatrette where they showed how Singapore gawd its name.. the cool thing bout it was that the screen's like damn long...
think this was a picture of Sun Yat Sen.. *freeeeeeaky*
Japanese's bicycles...
The Malaya Tribune.. preserved...
Sexy man posing right at the main entrance of the museum..
Next stop: Reflections at Bukit Chandu----
This place tell ya more bout how the Malays Regimen during the japanese invasion days fought them off... Stories bout the battle of Pasir Panjang.. and also bout the famous Lieutenant Adnan
And we also visited the Old Ford Factory-----
Haha..somehow we ended at Island Creamery after that for some homemade ice-cream... too bad they din have the Tiger Beer flavor that i was craving for...
It was a fun and interactive history lesson... :)
