The Dragon Gate Restaurant

Pengfei initiated to have a dimsum buffet one day very randomly....

Name of Restaurant: The Dragon Gate Restaurant
Location: Level 4 Harbourfront Center. (Take a lift to lvl 4 which is the carpark, then walk to the end)
Tel no: 6278 0288
Website: Dragon Gate Restaurant
Price: $17.90

The restaurant interior is abit olden-looking.. very suiting i guess since the crowd is usually of the older generation Haha.. jus a typical chinese restaurant decor.... And the dining area is huuuuuuuuge. You can hold a wedding inside, no doubt. Then the waiters and waitresses all speak cantonese, and they're quite efficient.

So its an ala-carte dimsum buffet, you ordered what you want from this piece of paper.. just tick everything to try... then when you're ready for a second round, just ask for another piece of paper to order more....

What's great bout this restaurant was that you can order as many desserts as you want too! Most dimsum buffet, or any buffet for that matter usually limit your desserts to one serving...

Some of the food on the menu.....

Fried Fruit Rolls - Inside is like this diced fruits eg. melons and mango

Classic Char Siew Pau

Fried Rice with anchovies

Dragon Gate Restaurant

Dragon Gate Restaurant

Xiao Long Bao

Har Kao

Fried Hong Kong Noodles

Mah Poh Beancurd

Century Egg Congee

Char Siew Pastry

Sweet and Sour Fish

Char Siew

Prawn Salad and Fried Prawn Dumpling

Siew Mai

There're still a lot more food that i din get a chance to snap a pic of cz we were just busy gobbling up everything..

Food wise, it wasnt that fantastic....but for that price, that much variety, that kinda quality, it was good enough. If i want something better, i would expect to pay more....

Verdict: Wont make you beg for more but you might come back to satisfy that dimsum craving.
