One day after the exam. Me and Jac decided to explore Singapore... Go places that ppl dont usually go...

So we hop to the MRT... (Mas Selamat still on the loose!!)
Our first stop: The Red Dot Traffic Building!

Nice building huh.. This building was once a traffic police HQ during the colonial days!! But now, its just a-very-handsome-looking commercial building housing a museum, a few eateries, a dance studio, and few more other stuff...

The red dot traffic building.. Its 5 minutes walk from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station.

On the far left: They still keep the 'ol British style kinda postbox. Cool!!

It houses a design museum. I dunno what the exhibits are cz it was closed on that day. Sueh.

Went to chill at The Pac Coffe @ Red Dot..

Second Pit Stop - The Urban Redevelopment Authority Building.........

This is the front of the building.. with a impressive sculpture.

Ok, so what's there to see in the URA building?? It sounds like a very boring office building that makes you think "am i even allowed to just walk in there????".
You can walk in alrite.. and you can go visit the Singapore City Gallery!
Most importantly, its FREE!

First exhibit in the gallery: It sort of shows the ideal public transport system that the Sg gov wanna achieve. Its very fanciful but its nothing much la..

Welcome to the Singapore City Gallery!!!

Right after u go in, there's this mini theatre.. Its a very cool interactive 'i ask u multiple choice questions and you press the correct answer' kinda game. Gurmit Singh will be asking the questions from the screen, and you gotta press A, B, or C on the panels. And the panels are not just for wayang cz it really works. And if u screw up, Gurmit Singh will scold you!!

Posters..

.....and more posters..

Guess what.... PCK was here!!! Together with his pair of glorified yellow boots..

This is what you see if you skydive down to the island from a plane.. It can be seen that tonnes of effort are put in into producing this masterpiece cz everything is very detailed and precise!

This thing is really fun.. It's actually a bird's eye view from a camera positioned at the top of the building. You can control the camera to move 360 degree and even zoom in/out to nearby buildings!!! Here, you can see Jac voyeur-ing.

Great cities... sorry Kuala Lumpur and Singapore not listed.

Cz this island is so damn small, the only way to build more stuff is to go downwards (upwards full alr). More underground facilities please...

Miniature National Stadium at Kallang..

From the left, Ngee Ann City, Wisma Atria and the new-soon-will-be-up Orchard Ion!

A whole day of bumping around made us hungry. We just grabbed food from the nearest restaurant available and Mos Burger you're lucky to earn our money..

Their signature rice burger...
We were so tired that we decided not to head for night safari(sigh...) and went back hall to rest.
Next up - Day Two!
